Seyfarth is seeking an e-Filing Specialist to join our regional/docket team in Atlanta. You will handle electronic filings in federal and state courts, ensuring compliance with deadlines and court rules across jurisdictions.

A background in large law firm litigation support and strong CM/ECF skills are required. You will collaborate with attorneys and coordinators, handle after-hours filing when needed, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.
5-7 years experience at a large law firm in a litigation support role.
Experience and subject matter expertise on filing requirements for federal and state courts.
Proficiency with e-Filing documents in state and federal courts.
Ability to research and apply jurisdiction-specific rules and procedures.
Attention to detail and accuracy under deadlines.
Time management and ability to multitask.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Ability to interpret filing rules and respond to procedural changes.
Proficiency with CM/ECF and state e-Filing platforms.

Responsabilités

Know court rules for e-filing in federal courts using CM/ECF; file after hours when needed.
File documents in State and appellate courts.
Maintain subject matter expertise on e- Filing requirements nationwide.
Act as liaison between courts and attorneys on procedural and technical matters.
Respond to procedural inquiries from attorneys.
Research court case information to maintain accurate records.
Assist regional coordinator and Director/Managing Attorney with special projects.
Serve as back-up for overflow docketing requests when not e-Filing.
