Job summary

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP is seeking an E-Filing and Litigation Specialist. The role splits time between managing electronic filing and providing litigation calendar support, reporting deadlines, and case history research.

The position requires a 3+ year e-filing background across CM/ECF, NYSCEF, Odyssey, and related platforms, with strong procedural knowledge and attention to detail. Hybrid work options are available, including remote locations in the US.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum of 3 years of e-filing experience across CM/ECF, NYSCEF, Odyssey, and other platforms.
Knowledge of civil court procedures (state and federal).
Proficiency with CourtAlert, Aderant-Compulaw or comparable databases.
Strong written and oral communication and attention to detail.
Ability to manage a high-volume workload under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Electronically file court documents accurately and timely.
Research e-filing procedures and court rules.
Review filings for procedural compliance, formats, signatures, fees.
Answer questions from attorneys regarding e-filing and procedures.
Liaise between attorneys and courts and retrieve docket sheets.
Prepare correspondence to courtroom staff and outside services.
Assist with service of pleadings in state and federal courts.
Assist attorneys with registering for e-filing accounts and troubleshooting access.
Calendar litigation events and generate deadline reports.
Track cases, order certificates, transcripts, and other documents.
