Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience and subject matter expertise on the filing requirements for federal and state courts.
• Proficiency with e-Filing documents in state and federal courts.
• Ability to research and apply jurisdiction-specific rules and procedures.
• Attention to detail and accuracy under deadlines.
• Time management and ability to multitask.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to interpret filing rules and respond to procedural changes.
• Proficiency with common e-filing platforms (e.g., CM/ECF for federal courts, state Court e-Filing platforms).
• The ability to interpret and analyze information.
• Computer proficient with advanced skills in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) required.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

As an e-Filing Specialist, you will be responsible for electronically filing documents in state and federal courts. In this position, you will be part of a regional and national docketing team that provides support to the firm’s domestic offices.

The Day-To-Day

On any given day, you will:

• Know applicable court rules on how to electronically file documents in federal court using the CM/ECF system. When needed, file documents electronically after hours.
• Be able to file documents in State and appellate courts.
• Have subject matter expertise on the requirements to e-File documents in federal and state courts across the country.
• Act as a liaison between the courts and the firm’s attorneys on procedural and technical matters.

You Have
