Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking an Associate Team Leader (ATL) for E-Commerce to enhance the grocery delivery and pick-up experience. You will ensure onboarding, coaching, safety, and productivity while leading process improvements and cross-functional collaboration.

The ATL will balance staffing, forecast reviews, and real-time deployment to meet customer order times. This role partners with store leadership and other departments to optimize operations, drive safety culture, and maintain high

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in retail or grocery delivery environments.
• Strong ability to coach and develop team members and provide constructive feedback.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across store leadership and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and train Team Members on SOPs, staging procedures, quality standards and safety protocols.
• Provide timely coaching and performance feedback through regular conversations to drive skill development and engagement.
• Partner with Team Leader to identify high-potential Team Members and create development plans.
• Lead team huddles and meetings to communicate priorities, celebrate wins, and address challenges.
• Maintain a safe work environment through hazard identification, resolution, and documentation.
• Ensure Team Members follow safety and food safety protocols through observation and coaching.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, complete reports and implement preventive actions.
• Partner with store leadership to drive safety culture and regulatory compliance.
• Own order accuracy and quality by audits, trend analysis, and coaching.
• Monitor customer order times and resolve delays or issues."
• Partner with other departments to improve customer experience.
• Ensure proper handling of substitutions, out-of-stocks, and special requests.
• Optimize shift operations by reviewing forecasts, deployment plans, and real-time staffing.
• Identify bottlenecks and lead process improvements to support productivity.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and supplies are available and functioning.
• Communicate effectively with Team Members, leadership, and external partners.
• Demonstrate proficiency in all E-Commerce duties and serve as SME for the team.
• Support company programs and initiatives across checkout options and product assortment.
