Job summary

Mediacom Communications is seeking a Process Support Representative I to support the back end of our e-Commerce processes and handle non-selling activities. This role transfers sales calls to the appropriate team and helps ensure smooth order processing.

You will verify addresses, process payments, screen leads, and assist with account management. A high school diploma, solid PC skills, and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to utilize a PC with several different applications simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Adaptable to new work methods and mixtures of daily workload.
• Effective verbal communication skills, including grammar and tone.
• Ability to ask relevant questions to identify customer needs/concerns.
• Self-motivator with upbeat energy and strong team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve orders flagged with possible issues in e-Commerce.
• Place outbound calls to existing customers to gauge satisfaction and escalate issues as needed.
• Process customer payments.
• Research serviceability of addresses using billing system, USPS, and Google Maps; submit tickets to prepare addresses for transactional sales.
• Screen potential sales leads for serviceability and eligibility before handing off to sales teams.
• Research accounts to update installation status for reports and invoices.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls and other account management tasks in a non-selling capacity.
