Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Store e-Commerce Assistant Manager to support daily operations of the store's online order process. You will help supervise e-Commerce staff and ensure accurate order fulfillment while upholding safety and compliance standards.

You will collaborate with the Store e-Commerce manager to resolve issues, train team members, and implement improvements to workflows and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience.
• Able to read shelf tags.
• Comfort with basic computer tasks.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed customer expectations for shopping experience.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company guidelines.
• Train selectors and customer attendants as directed.
• Act as interim e-Commerce lead when manager is unavailable.
• Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associates’ needs.
• Manage intake of customer orders and assign work.
• Print and distribute order labels for all orders.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment.
• Maintain supplies and staging areas.
• Report discrepancies to the e-Commerce manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Learn and implement process improvements with the e-Commerce team.
• Provide feedback on team performance during reviews.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced environments and handle conflicts professionally.
• Follow directions and seek help when needed to resolve issues.
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
