E-Commerce Operations Support

Position Type: Part-Time | Remote
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Eastern Time (Monday to Friday; hours may be adjusted based on operational needs)
Reports To: Operations Management

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive individual to join our team as Remote E-commerce Operations Support.

The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day e-commerce operations, including shipment planning, inventory replenishment, pricing research, listing monitoring, and operational reporting across multiple e-commerce platforms.

This role requires someone who is organized, comfortable working with spreadsheets, able to manage multiple priorities independently, and capable of identifying issues and communicating recommendations to management.

The position may evolve to include additional operational responsibilities based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Shipment Planning & Inventory Replenishment

• Prepare and maintain shipment plans across e-commerce fulfillment platforms.
• Assist with inventory replenishment planning based on product availability, sales demand, and listing eligibility.
• Review inventory availability, SKU eligibility, and listing readiness before preparing shipment recommendations.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to confirm shipment quantities, product availability, and outstanding requirements.
• Monitor pending shipment plans and follow up on unresolved issues.

2. Marketplace Pricing & Competitor Research

• Monitor pricing competitiveness and Buy Box status across applicable e-commerce platforms.
• Conduct regular pricing checks and identify products requiring repricing.
• Research competitor pricing and market trends to identify opportunities for competitive pricing.
• Prepare pricing recommendations for management review, considering product condition, selling fees, shipping costs, and profitability.
• Update approved prices in the relevant marketplace systems, where authorized.

3. Listing & SKU Management

• Maintain accurate trackers of active, inactive, pending, and restricted listings across sales channels.
• Track product listings and SKUs across different inventory categories and e-commerce platforms.
• Monitor listing status, product availability, and potential issues that may affect sales.
• Identify listing discrepancies, missing information, and restrictions requiring attention.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve outstanding listing-related issues.

4. Operational Tracking & Reporting

• Maintain and regularly update operational trackers, including shipment plans, replenishment activities, pricing reviews, and listing status.
• Ensure information is accurate, complete, and updated within established deadlines.
• Prepare concise progress reports highlighting completed tasks, outstanding items, and operational challenges.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to existing processes.
• Support other e-commerce operational and administrative tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience supporting e-commerce marketplace operations, preferably involving product listings, inventory management, pricing, or fulfillment.
• Familiarity with shipment planning, inventory replenishment, and marketplace listing processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for maintaining and updating operational trackers.
• Ability to conduct online pricing research and evaluate competitor pricing.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn new systems, follow established processes, and take on additional responsibilities.

Remote Work Requirements

• A reliable laptop or desktop computer capable of running multiple browser tabs, spreadsheets, and e-commerce platforms efficiently.
• A stable, high-speed internet connection suitable for video meetings and daily online work.
• A reliable power supply and backup arrangements to minimize work interruptions.
• A quiet, professional workspace suitable for remote work.
• Availability to work from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for potential schedule adjustments.
