Uncommon Goods is seeking Seasonal E-Commerce Operations Associates to support our Merchant Operations team through the holiday season. You’ll work with vendors to place and track purchase orders, follow up on shipments, and keep information accurate and up to date.

Experience in e-commerce, retail operations, purchasing, order management, vendor support, inventory, logistics, or customer operations is helpful, and you’ll be part of a fast-moving team during peak season.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping details.
• Proficiency with Excel and learning new systems quickly.

Responsabilités

• Track orders and help make sure products arrive when and where they’re supposed to
• Maintain accurate information on product availability, costs, reorders, and vendor communications
• Troubleshoot shipping, inventory, and order issues and help identify solutions
• Work across multiple systems to keep orders and information moving
• Partner with our Merchandising, Customer Service, and Warehouse teams during our busy holiday season
• Jump in on other Merchant Operations projects when needed

We're looking for Seasonal E-Commerce Operations Associates to support our Merchant Operations team through the holiday season. You'll work directly with our vendors to place and track purchase orders, follow up on shipments, resolve order and inventory issues, and make sure information stays accurate and up to date.

If you have experience in e-commerce, retail operations, purchasing, order management, vendor support, inventory, logistics, or customer operations, this could be a role for you.

What We're Looking For

You don't need to have done this exact job before. We're looking for someone who has experience in a fast-moving retail, e-commerce, purchasing, logistics, inventory, vendor support, or customer operations environment and can learn quickly.

You'll likely do well in this role if you:

• Have experience working with orders, inventory, vendors, customers, or shipping
• Are extremely organized and detail-oriented
• Are comfortable following up with people by phone and email
• Can manage multiple priorities without losing track of the details
• Enjoy figuring out what went wrong and finding a solution
• Are comfortable working in Excel and learning new systems
• Pick up technology quickly and aren't intimidated by having several systems open at once
• Can work independently while also being part of a collaborative team

Nice to have, but not required:

• Experience with purchase orders or vendor management
• E-commerce or retail operations experience
• Zendesk or another ticketing/customer service platform
• Experience with Excel formulas, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, or PivotTables
• Experience with an ERP, inventory management, order management, or purchasing system
