Job summary

Goodwill Industries of San Diego County seeks a Department Manager to assist the Manager in daily operations, drive revenue, and ensure customer and donor satisfaction across the store. You will lead a team, monitor performance, and implement organizational initiatives with a focus on safety and quality.

A High School/GED and at least 5 years of related experience, plus a California driver’s license, are required.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required; 2-year degree preferred.
• CA Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to insurance requirements.
• Minimum 5 years related field experience; GISD experience in level 5/6 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager in achieving department revenues.
• Monitor marketplace sales, metrics and KPIs to ensure service and merchandise quality.
• Collaborate with Manager to adjust strategy based on staffing and product flow.
• Lead, motivate, and develop staff to meet departmental goals.
• Ensure safety, compliance with guidelines, and timely completion of initiatives.
