Job summary

Kroger in Eagle River, WI is seeking a Store e-Commerce Assistant Manager to support day-to-day operations of the e-Commerce department and lead a team to meet customer expectations. You will uphold Kroger's values, supervise staff, train roles, and ensure compliance with laws and safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

You will act as the on-site leader when the Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable, assist with scheduling, and help optimize e-Commerce processes to deliver reliable

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Self-directed, capable of executing projects with minimal supervision.
• Any experience in production/warehouse environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
• Ensure team follows laws, safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Perform responsibilities required of selectors and customer attendants.
• Train all functions of selector and customer attendant roles.
• Act as the person in charge of the e-Commerce department when the Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable.
• Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associates’ needs.
• Maintain intake of customer orders and distribute work to staff.
• Print and distribute order labels, including perishable orders.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
• Maintain supplies and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report discrepancies to pricing, scanning, item location, and temperature types.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Learn and implement process improvements as directed by division or enterprise team.
• Provide feedback on daily and annual performance.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicts constructively.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
• Support with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults as needed.
• Perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
