Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Store e-Commerce Operations Manager in Cincinnati to oversee day-to-day online store activities, drive sales, and manage staffing and development of associates. You will implement processes to meet budgets, ensure safety, and uphold Kroger's values in every customer interaction.

You will lead scheduling, training, and performance reviews, coordinate with store leadership, and drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and on-line order accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Any proven supervisory experience.
• Any prior experience in the selection and hiring process.
• Strong organization skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds several throughout the day.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and/or walk constantly.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, or crouch several times per hour.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Any experience with and knowledge of Point of Sale (POS)

Responsibilities

• Ensure store e-Commerce department meets/exceeds customer expectations for shopping experience.
• Interview, select and hire candidates to staff the online department.
• Create schedules according to guidelines to meet product flow demands.
• Develop associates to meet productivity standards and certify them.
• Ensure compliance with laws and food safety procedures.
• Train associates on order selector and customer attendant roles.
• Lead planning and execution of e-Commerce initiatives.
• Meet or exceed sales, wage budgets and customer satisfaction targets.
• Assist in competitive landscape analysis and response.
• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and substitutions when needed.
• Streamline collection of orders, products, checkouts and delivery.
• Report inventory issues to department heads.
• Troubleshoot equipment for e-Commerce department.
• Provide feedback to management on effectiveness of plans/programs.
• Monitor and control department expenses.
• Ensure preventative maintenance on equipment.
