Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Store e-Commerce Assistant Manager to support daily operations of the e-Commerce department. You will supervise staff, maintain order flow, ensure compliance with safety and company guidelines, and act as the lead when the Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable.

You will also assist with scheduling, training, and process improvements, maintaining customer order accuracy and a high standard of store cleanliness and service.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Selfdirected, ability to execute projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
• Ensure team members are adhering to laws, food safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Perform responsibilities required of selectors and customer attendants as needed per guidelines.
• Train all functions and duties of the selector and customer attendant roles.
• Act as the person in charge of the e-Commerce department when the Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable.
• Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associates’ needs.
• Maintain intake of customer orders and distribute work to selectors and attendants.
• Print and distribute order labels, including perishable orders.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
• Maintain supplies and ensure necessary duties.
• Keep staging areas and equipment organized and clean.
• Report discrepancies to the store e-Commerce manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Learn and implement process improvements as directed by e-Commerce teams.
• Provide feedback on daily and annual performance.
