Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Store Operations Manager to oversee the e-Commerce department. You will manage day-to-day activities, staff the team, and develop associates to meet sales, goals, and budgets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Experience in selection and hiring processes is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, or crouch periodically.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the store's e-Commerce department to meet sales goals and budgets.
• Staff the department and develop associates to achieve results.
• Interview, select and hire candidates for the on-line shopping team.
• Plan product flow and create schedules per guidelines.
• Train associates in order selector and customer attendant duties.
• Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and timely with substitutions when needed.
• Monitor inventory, costs, and equipment maintenance for the department.
• Drive customer satisfaction and support initiatives to encourage repeat business.
• Report issues to division and store leadership and adapt plans as needed.
