Job summary

Fry’s Food Stores in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a hands-on leader to manage the day-to-day operations of the store’s e-Commerce department, hire and develop staff, and uphold the company values of respect, integrity and safety.

You will supervise order fulfillment, ensure customer satisfaction, plan schedules, monitor budgets, and drive initiatives to improve online ordering, product flow and delivery accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED and supervisory experience.
• Experience in the hiring process and candidate selection.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and effective communication skills.
• Desired: Bachelor's degree and experience with POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily e-Commerce department operations to meet sales goals and budgets.
• Staff the department and develop associates to achieve results.
• Ensure compliance with laws and food safety procedures.
• Train associates on order selector and customer attendant duties.
• Lead planning and execution of e-Commerce initiatives.
• Meet weekly, period, and annual sales and wage budgets; drive customer satisfaction.
• Respond to competitive landscape and optimize product flow.
• Ensure timely order fulfillment and appropriate substitutions for OOS items.
• Streamline order collection, checkout, and delivery processes.
• Report inventory issues and coordinate with leadership on actions.
• Troubleshoot department equipment and maintain uptime.
• Provide feedback to management on plans and program effectiveness.
• Monitor expenses and maintain preventative maintenance of equipment.
• Coach and evaluate direct reports; manage conflicts professionally.
• Maintain honesty and integrity in customer and business information.
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
