Job summary

Kroger Lexington is seeking an Assistant Store e-Commerce Manager to support day-to-day operations in the store’s e-Commerce department, ensuring accurate, timely, and friendly service for customers.

You will supervise team members, schedule, train staff, and act in charge when the Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable, while upholding Kroger’s values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. This role offers growth opportunities within a large national retailer.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read shelf tags and maintain accurate stock information.
• Basic computer literacy and comfort with office or store systems.
• Solid math skills including counting, additions, and subtractions.
• Self-directed with the ability to execute projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
• Ensure team members follow local, state and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Perform responsibilities required of selectors and customer attendants as needed per company guidelines.
• Train all functions and duties of the selector and customer attendant roles.
• Act as the person in charge of the e-Commerce department when the Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable.
• Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associates’ needs.
• Maintain the intake of customer orders and distribute and assign work to selectors and customer attendants.
• Print and distribute order labels, including orders for perishable departments.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
• Maintain supplies and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report discrepancies to the store e-Commerce manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Learn and implement process improvements from e-Commerce teams.
• Provide feedback on daily performance and annual reviews.
• Ability to work in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a constructive manner.
• Maintain honesty and integrity of customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help when needed to resolve issues
• Provide support for interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
