Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is hiring to assist the Store e-Commerce manager in the day-to-day operation of the e-Commerce department. You will help ensure excellent customer experience and compliance with laws and company guidelines in a fast-paced store setting.

The role involves supervising staff, scheduling, order intake, labeling, equipment troubleshooting and driving process improvements with the enterprise e-Commerce team.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Self-directed, ability to execute projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
• Ensure team members follow laws, safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Train all functions and duties of the selector and customer attendant roles.
• Act as the person in charge of the e-Commerce department when the Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable.
• Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associates’ needs.
• Maintain intake of customer orders and distribute work to staff.
• Print and distribute order labels, including perishable orders.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
• Maintain supplies and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report discrepancies to pricing, scanning, item location, and temperature types.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Learn and implement process improvements with e-Commerce teams.
• Provide feedback on team members’ daily and annual performance.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment; manage conflicts constructively.
