Job summary

Kroger in Edgewood, NM is seeking a Store e-Commerce Supervisor to assist the Store e-Commerce manager in day-to-day operations of the store's e-Commerce department. The role emphasizes supervising staff, safety, and adherence to company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, subtraction).
• Self-directed, able to execute tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
• Ensure team members follow local, state and federal laws, food safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Perform responsibilities of selectors and customer attendants as needed.
• Train all functions and duties of the selector and customer attendant roles.
• Act as the person in charge of the e-Commerce department when the Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable.
• Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associates’ needs.
• Maintain intake of customer orders and distribute work to selectors and attendants.
• Print and distribute order labels, including for perishable departments.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
• Maintain supplies and organize staging areas and equipment.
• Report discrepancies to the store e-Commerce manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Learn and implement process improvements as directed by division or enterprise e-Commerce team.
• Provide feedback on team members' daily performance and reviews.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflict in a constructive manner.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
