Job summary

PFERD is seeking a Customer Service Representative (E-Commerce) to be the main contact for e-commerce customers and manage orders across platforms. You will coordinate with Marketing, Sales, Planning and Distribution to ensure a seamless online experience.

The role requires strong customer focus, technical aptitude, and the ability to resolve issues efficiently to support territorial coverage. Prior ERP/SAP familiarity and a proactive communication style are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of customer service experience in an industrial setting.
• ERP experience (SAP is a plus).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrates judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with customers.
• Ability to work under deadlines, independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with all teams to improve online customer experience across e-commerce platforms.
• Reviews EDI orders for Amazon and Fleet Farm and processes them as needed.
• Creates website accounts for customers and assists with account use.
• Reports website issues to the e-commerce team.
• Drives revenue by developing relationships with customers.
• Processes orders in SAP when EDI or Nexmart is not used.
• Responds to customer inquiries via phone and email with inventory or order status checks.
• Ensures orders are filled and shipped promptly through coordination with purchasing, planning and distribution.
