MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries seeks an E-Commerce Computer Technician to join the Blue Springs team. The role involves inspecting, refurbishing, and preparing computers for sale or shipment, while meeting daily production goals and upholding safety and quality standards.

No degree is required; a high school diploma or GED is preferred. Strong communication, organization, and basic math skills are essential, along with knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.

Qualifications

• No degree required; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Mathematics skills include basic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Experience performing POST diagnostics on computer operating systems.
• Knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Sort and inspect items to meet quality standards.
• Identify end-of-life computers vs. refurbishable devices.
• Install and run software from USB drives or DVDs.
• Prepare computers for refurbishment process.
• Ensure high-quality refurbished computers are ready for shipment on time.
• Meet daily production goals and performance expectations.
