Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking an energetic E-Commerce Shipping Associate for the Jennings team. You will pull orders, scan merchandise, package items, and prepare postage while maintaining accuracy and organization.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to work with a diverse team. Flexible scheduling and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• No degree is required; HS Diploma/GED preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication with co-workers, customers and management.
• Must be organized and able to interact with a diverse work population; basic math, computer and website navigation skills.
• Typing 40+ WPM is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull orders from the shelf, scan merchandise to track the chain of custody, and add to cart.
• Use disc-resurfacing machines according to instructions.
• Notify the supervisor of any errors in pulling, listing, or damaging products.
• Locate boxes and packaging material appropriate for the item being shipped.
• Package and seal items, ensuring correct postage based on weight and dimensions.
• Create address labels and postage stickers, and ensure the package contents are correct.
• Sort packages for shipping and assist the shipping company with loading/unloading.
