Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an e-Commerce Sales Associate to interact with hundreds of customers online, over the phone and in person, guiding their vehicle purchase in our no-haggle environment. You will respond to leads promptly, answer questions, present information and help convert inquiries into an in-store experience while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

A High School diploma or equivalent is required; sales or retail experience is preferred; strong communication and tech comfort

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, retail preferred.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.

Responsibilities

• Respond to leads in a timely fashion across online, phone, and in person.
• Guide customers from phone/internet contact to an in-store experience.
• Negotiate terms to meet customer budgets and expectations and close the deal.
• Follow up after sale to ensure satisfaction and transition to Service.
