Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an enthusiastic E-commerce Sales Associate to engage customers online, by phone, and in person, helping them choose their ideal vehicle in a no-haggle environment. You will respond to inquiries quickly, explain options, and guide customers from lead to in-store purchase with a focus on exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, retail preferred.
• Strong communication, consultative interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers online, over the phone and in store to guide vehicle purchases.
• Respond to leads promptly and provide information to help customers decide.
• Negotiate terms to fit budgets and preferences and close the deal.
• Transition customers to the Service department to support ownership experience.
