Placements24 is seeking an E-commerce Business Analyst to join our client’s team in Randburg, ZA. The role focuses on analyzing online performance, identifying trends, and driving data-informed decisions to optimize sales, user experience, and operations.

You will work with marketing, IT, and operations to develop insights, build dashboards, and support strategic initiatives. A hybrid work arrangement balances remote work with in-office collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, SQL, Excel, and BI platforms (Tableau/Power BI).
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, user stories, and process flows.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Understanding of e-commerce platforms, web technologies and digital marketing.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

• Analyze e-commerce sales data, website traffic, customer behavior, and conversion rates to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs for the e-commerce business.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic planning.

• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders across departments.

• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
• Support the marketing team in analyzing campaign performance and optimizing digital marketing efforts.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in e-commerce analytics.
