Placements24 is seeking an analytical and creative E-commerce Marketing Specialist focused on Social Media & Analytics to join our team in Welkom, Free State. You will manage social channels, develop engaging content, and analyze performance metrics to drive growth and ROI.

The role requires a strong grasp of social media dynamics and data interpretation, with the ability to translate insights into impactful strategies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in social media marketing and digital analytics, preferably in e-commerce.
• Experience creating engaging content and managing campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
• Proficient with analytics tools and data visualization; able to translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand visibility, traffic and sales.
• Create, curate and schedule content across platforms with brand consistency.
• Monitor channels, respond to inquiries, and manage community engagement.
• Analyze performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, ROI) using analytics tools.
• Prepare regular performance reports with actionable optimization recommendations.
• Manage paid social campaigns including budget, targeting, and ad testing.
• Collaborate with marketing to align social with broader campaigns.
• Identify influencers or brand partners to expand reach.
• Stay updated on social media trends and best practices.
• Conduct market research on customer behaviour and opportunities.
