Job summary

Talent Acquisition LLC is seeking an experienced E-Billing Specialist to support the Billing function with setup, submission, and ongoing management of electronic billing in a law-firm environment.

The role ensures client and matter setups are accurate, invoices comply with client guidelines, and electronic submissions are completed on time. Ideal candidate has law firm billing experience and strong e-billing knowledge with excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of e-billing experience in a law firm.
  • Experience with Elite Enterprise, Elite 3E, or Aderant.
  • Familiarity with e-billing platforms such as BillBlast, Serengeti, Collaborati, Passport, BillingPoint, CounselLink, or e-Billing Hub.
  • Strong MS Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Ability to interpret complex client billing guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Set up new clients and matters for electronic billing and ensure accurate configuration.
  • Review and interpret client billing guidelines and establish e-billing requirements.
  • Coordinate rates, timekeepers, budgets, and billing information with attorneys, billing teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Submit electronic invoices and monitor status through client portals and BillBlast.
  • Research and resolve rejected invoices, including corrections and resubmissions.
  • Communicate invoice and rejection statuses to Collections and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor e-billing portals for new requirements and outstanding issues.
  • Maintain reports for rejected invoices, appeals, accruals, and e-billing activity.
  • Assist Billing Management with reporting, process improvements, and special projects.
  • Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.

Job description

A leading professional services organization is seeking an experienced E-Billing Specialist to support its Billing function with the setup, submission, and ongoing management of electronic billing.

This role will ensure client and matter setups are accurate, invoices comply with client billing guidelines, and electronic submissions are completed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will have prior law firm billing experience, strong e-billing knowledge, and excellent attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Previous law firm billing experience required; 3+ years of e-billing experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Elite Enterprise, Elite 3E, or Aderant required.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Serengeti, Collaborati, Passport, BillingPoint, CounselLink, e-Billing Hub, or BillBlast preferred.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and strong overall Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Ability to interpret complex client billing guidelines and translate requirements into accurate e-billing processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to independently manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
