Job summary

V2X is seeking a VX20 Work Center Supervisor to lead a maintenance group at Patuxent River, MD. The role oversees avionics work on E-2D aircraft, ensuring safe, efficient operations and compliance with Navy 4790.2 guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have at least six years in aircraft maintenance, hands-on avionics experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. A high school diploma and preferred associate degree or trade license underpin the background.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree or trade license preferred.
• A&P License/FAA Certification desirable but not required.
• Six (6) years’ experience in the aircraft maintenance environment.
• Experience with E-2D fixed wing aircraft avionics equipment, such as radar, communications, and navigation systems.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises activities of personnel, determining and directing specific work.
• Assists in the operations of the maintenance departments per the CNAFINST 4790.2 series.
• Ensures full and effective employment of assigned personnel.
• Ensures all work is scheduled and performed in a safe and efficient manner.
• Responsible for compliance of special programs as assigned and training of direct reports.
• May lead and direct a group of two or more individuals.
