Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an Avionics Field Technician 4 (AT) for the VX-20 E-2D Field Support Team at Patuxent River, MD. The role involves maintenance, modifications and technical support on E-2D avionics and related systems onsite.

Required qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent with 6 years of related experience, ability to obtain SECRET clearance, and experience with E-2D avionics.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US government Secret clearance.
• Experience with E-2D Avionics systems.
• Ability to lift 30lbs.
• Willing to work extended shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair E-2D avionics systems per specifications using wiring schematics and ALE data.
• Supports testing, exercises, and operations at CONUS and possible OCONUS locations.
• Diagnose and repair E-2D avionics subsystems including RADAR, EMIRS, RF, IFF, data links.
• Update system software such as RADAR and IFF using CTS.
