Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Dyslexia Specialist to support students with reading difficulties and build long-term academic skills. You will deliver explicit, multisensory instruction aligned with the Texas Dyslexia Handbook and develop individualized plans with campus teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Texas Educator Certification required; Dyslexia certification or TEA Dyslexia training preferred.
• Knowledge of Texas dyslexia laws and IDEA/ARD processes; CPR certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Dyslexia Intervention: explicit, systematic, multisensory instruction per Texas Dyslexia Handbook.
• Develop Individualized Support Plans based on data and evaluations.
• Monitor Student Progress; collect and analyze data to track growth.
• Collaborate with teachers, diagnosticians, families; participate in ARD/504.
• Ensure compliance with TEA guidelines and district procedures.
• Support student growth by building literacy and confidence.
