Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
• Texas Educator Certification required. Dyslexia certification or TEA-approved training preferred.
• MTA required.
• Knowledge of Texas dyslexia laws and the ARD/IDEA processes; experience with dyslexia intervention and progress monitoring preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Dyslexia Intervention: explicit, multisensory instruction per TEA Dyslexia Handbook.
• Develop Individualized Support Plans based on student data and ARD/IDEA requirements.
• Monitor Student Progress through regular data collection and analysis.
• Collaborate with general ed, special ed staff, diagnosticians, and families; participate in ARD meetings and 504 processes.
