Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Dynatrace Subject Matter Expert to lead design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise observability across hybrid environments. You will partner with infrastructure, cloud, DBAs, SRE, and operations to improve reliability and visibility.

The role requires deep Dynatrace administration experience, strong monitoring practices, and collaboration across teams to drive proactive incident response and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT Infrastructure, Monitoring, SRE, or Observability Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on Dynatrace administration and implementation.
• Experience in enterprise-scale environments with thousands of hosts/services.
• Proven delivery of observability solutions in production environments.
• Deep knowledge of Dynatrace capabilities: OneAgent, ActiveGate, Davis AI, Smartscape, Synthetic Monitoring, Logs, and metrics APIs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Dynatrace SME for enterprise observability initiatives.
• Design, implement, configure, and optimize Dynatrace monitoring solutions.
• Administer Dynatrace tenants, OneAgent deployments, ActiveGates, integrations, and upgrades.
• Establish monitoring standards, governance, alerting strategies, and dashboards.
• Promote observability best practices across infra, cloud, databases, and middleware.
• Develop database observability dashboards and KPI reporting with DBAs.
• Integrate Dynatrace with ServiceNow, Splunk, PagerDuty, Jira, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
