Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Dynamics 365 Developer/Development Lead to manage our FCMT Sustainment and Development Team. This position is full time and fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers and testers as a Development Lead on the FCMT Team.
• Become SME for the FCMT application, providing expertise, advice, and system knowledge to PjM and the customer.
• Design and code applications following specifications using Dynamics 365, Power BI, Power Automate, App Services, ASP.Net Web services, and PowerApps.
• Guide the team towards successful project delivery, providing coaching and mentorship.
• Maintain high standards of excellence by establishing good practices.
• Assist in gathering and documenting user requirements, developing user stories, estimates, and work plans.
• Prepare reports, manuals, operational procedures, and other documentation.
• Integrate with necessary applications and collaborate with system development teams.
• Assist in system integration testing.
• Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze system factors including input/output requirements and information flow.
• Participate in code reviews and Sprint Reviews to ensure adherence to standards.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Expertise in developing and maintaining applications in Dynamics 365.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Leadership experience supervising developers/engineers.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with Azure.
• Experience with version control and project management tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub).
• Experience working remotely.
• Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US.
• Clearance: Suitability/Public Trust.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with VA or other Federal Agencies.
• Understanding of VA VIP project management methodology.
• Experience with Power BI.
