Business Development Manager – US Market (India-based) @ PEOPLE10

JOB LOCATION: India (Remote/Hybrid | Travel as required)

EXPERIENCE: 5–8 Years

ROLE TYPE: Individual Contributor

REPORTING TO: Director of Sales

WORK TIMINGS: 6 PM to 2 AM IST

Responsibilities:

  1. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the US market through modern outreach channels such as email, LinkedIn, calls, and referrals.
  2. Research target accounts and inbound leads using AI tools, market signals, and business data to identify pain points, opportunities, and decision-makers.
  3. Craft personalized outreach messages to initiate high-quality conversations with prospects.
  4. Conduct discovery calls to understand client challenges and tailor People10’s solutions accordingly.
  5. Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities with regular updates and metrics.
  6. Manage the sales process from initial contact to deal closure, collaborating with pre-sales and delivery teams.
  7. Stay informed about industry trends, buyer behavior, and emerging technologies to facilitate informed conversations.
  8. Keep CRM data updated with outreach activities, pipeline stages, and progress reports.
  9. Travel occasionally to meet clients, attend events, or conferences in the US.

Must-Have Skills:

  1. 6–10 years of proven experience in B2B technology services sales, preferably in enterprise application development, custom software, or digital transformation.
  2. Experience in selling to US-based clients from India is essential.
  3. Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to influence senior decision-makers in complex enterprise environments.
  4. Proficiency with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo/ZoomInfo, HubSpot/CRM, AI email assistants, and sales automation platforms.
  5. Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and questioning skills.
  6. Self-motivated, outcome-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.
  7. Willingness to travel for client meetings or trade shows.

Good to Have Skills:

  1. Exposure to industries such as Manufacturing, Healthcare, or BFSI.
  2. Familiarity with modern sales enablement tools and AI-driven prospecting platforms.
  3. Experience working in startups or fast-growth environments.
