Job Description

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team in East Hanover, NJ. Remote work options are available. The role involves driving growth, diversifying the customer base within the medical, automotive, and aerospace industries, and developing strategic business relationships.

Responsibilities

1. Identify and generate new business opportunities with targeted prospects in collaboration with marketing.
2. Maintain close relationships with key engineering and procurement personnel to ensure a steady flow of new opportunities.
3. Expand contact base at existing key accounts and build long-term partnerships.
4. Learn customer product details to uncover needs and offer expanded products and services.
5. Make capability presentations to targeted accounts to showcase our value proposition.
6. Stay informed about competitors, target markets, and industry trends through trade shows, journals, and customer feedback.
7. Prepare weekly travel itineraries, sales reports, and maintain the CRM system.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of business development experience.
3. Experience with metal stamping and progressive die tooling is preferred.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Experience in the medical, automotive, and aerospace industries is preferred.
6. Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.
