Job summary

SmithGroup is seeking a Dynamics 365 Administrator to serve as a hands-on SME across the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem—CE, PO, and F&O. This hybrid role partners with business stakeholders, IT, and vendors to deliver configuration, production administration, automated testing, and upgrades.

Located in the Eastern time zone, you will own day-to-day operations and drive feature adoption. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in a Dynamics administrator role, a CS/Tech degree, and experience with

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of experience as a Microsoft Dynamics administrator.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Technology preferred.
• Experience with CE, PO, and F&O Dynamics modules.
• Experience with Power Platform and Dataverse.
• Experience configuring security roles and production operations.
• Familiarity with SDLC practices and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and support Dynamics 365 CE, PO, F&O and Power Platform modules.
• Coordinate with vendor for production issues, feature development, changes, and upgrades.
• Configure, test, deploy, and maintain D365 solutions across DEV, UAT, PROD environments.
• Manage day-to-day production operations: onboarding/offboarding, roles, security, and data integrity.
• Respond to end-user incidents via ticketing system and troubleshoot performance, access, and data issues.
• Drive adoption and return on investment by piloting new features with Microsoft experts and leads.
• Act as project manager for two OneVersion upgrades per year.
• Design and maintain automated functional and regression tests; support test-automation tools.
