Job summary

Empire Merchants North in Upstate New York is seeking a high-energy Sales Representative for Wine and Spirits in Erie County. The role emphasizes territory planning, presenting supplier programs to retailers, and driving objectives for the company and its partners.

You will work with on-premise and off-premise accounts, coordinate promotions, and maintain POS materials while ensuring adherence to company standards. Experience in food/beverage is a plus; a NY driver license is required.

Qualifications

• A clean, valid New York State Driver’s License is required.
• Ability to obtain and hold a NYS Solicitor’s Permit.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience in the food/beverage industry is required; adult beverage experience preferred.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan territory and activities to meet company and supplier objectives.
• Prepare and present professional sales presentations to retailers.
• Interact with supplier reps and promotional agencies to achieve objectives.
• Manage on-premise and off-premise accounts to maximize distribution and sales.
• Coordinate promotions, training, and point-of-sale materials in accounts.
• Maintain records and timely reports of territory activity and results.
