Job summary

Empire Merchants North, Upstate New York’s premier wine and spirits distributor, seeks a high-energy Sales Representative for the Erie County region. The role focuses on maximizing supplier brand sales through territory planning, effective selling, and strong account relationships.

Responsibilities include daily account visits, planning, presentations, and collaboration with suppliers, merchandisers, and promotional teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in the food/beverage industry preferred
• Must have a clean NYS driver’s license and ability to obtain solicitor permit
• Strong communication and presentation skills to engage trade accounts

Responsibilities

• Plan territories and activities to achieve supplier and company objectives.
• Call on accounts daily, maintain routes, and build positive relationships with decision-makers.
• Deliver effective sales presentations and support supplier programs.
• Coordinate merchandising, training, and POS materials with accounts and suppliers.
• Maintain timely reports, schedules, and account records as directed.
