The Clubs at St. James is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Restaurant Manager in Southport, NC. As part of Troon, you will lead front-of-house operations, drive guest satisfaction, and coordinate weekly and seasonal events to enhance member experiences.

Responsibilities include duty management during peak times, staff hiring support, POS oversight, budget and labor management, and maintaining service excellence in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

• Communicates daily with the Restaurant Manager on department status.

Description:
The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for ensuring outstanding member dining experiences. The Assistant Restaurant Manager is expected to provide leadership and strategic direction and ensure that service is focused on exceeding member and guest expectations, which align with the Club’s service goals and initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Experience/Education/Certifications:

Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. to waist height.
• Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping.
• Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Repetitive motion required, including computer entry.
• Must be able to operate a golf car in a safe manner.
• Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language.

Other Requirements:
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
