Job summary

The Clubs at St. James in Southport, NC, is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead daily dining service and guest experiences in a fast-paced, club-style environment. This position offers growth within Troon, a global leader in golf and community management.

You will supervise front-of-house operations, help hire and train staff, plan events, manage payroll and costs, and ensure health standards are met, while working nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of front-of-house management experience.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Manager on Duty during peak times.
• Ensure a consistent positive guest experience.
• Plan weekly and seasonal events.
• Maintain a clean and organized operation.
• Ensure compliance with Health Department standards.
• Assist in hiring front-of-house staff.
• Train front-of-house staff on department standards.
• Oversee inventory control and cost of sales within budgeted numbers.
• Communicate daily with the Restaurant Manager on department status.
• Lead the team in a positive manner.
