Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Alabama Teacher's Certificate is required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technology to plan and provide instruction and facilitate student learning.
• Model appropriate and innovative use of technology for students.
• Facilitate and monitor the integration of technology in the classroom.
• Provide modifications for students with special needs, including ELL.
• Select, develop, modify and/or adapt materials and resources to support learning objectives.
• Establish routines and behavior management procedures.
• Participate in administration of local and state testing as assigned.
• Use formative and summative assessment to monitor student progress and inform instruction.
• Communicate high expectations and real-world targets.
• Demonstrate critical, creative and evaluative thinking in students.
• Provide instruction on safety procedures and proper handling of materials.
• Foster responsible, diverse, respectful behavior and ethics.
• Supervise extracurricular activities as assigned.
• Support school improvement initiatives and professional growth.
• Maintain confidentiality of student/school information as required by law.
