You will deliver standards-based social studies instruction, use technology, and participate in testing and school initiatives. Salary is listed on the certified schedule with a range of $49,080 to $93,875, depending on degree level and ALSDE recognition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Alabama Teacher's Certificate.
• Must meet ESSA federal and state requirements or be willing to meet.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technology to plan and provide instruction and facilitate student learning.
• Model appropriate and innovative use of technology for students.
• Facilitate and monitor the integration of technology in the classroom.
• Provide modifications for students with special needs, including ELL and special education students.
• Select, develop, modify and/or adapt materials and resources which support learning objectives.
• Establish routines and uses appropriate behavior management procedures.
• Participate in administration of local and state testing as assigned.
• Use formative and summative assessment to monitor student progress and inform instruction.
• Communicate high learning expectations and real-world targets.
• Engage in professional growth and uphold professional ethics and leadership.
