Bernal Heights Neighborhood Center (BHNC) is seeking a flexible Social Services Floater to provide direct support across Senior Services and Service Connection programs in San Francisco. The role adapts to program needs, maintaining continuity of services when staff are unavailable.

The position emphasizes helping diverse community members with access to benefits, housing, healthcare, and other services, while collaborating with staff and partners to ensure a welcoming, confidential environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in social services, case management, or related field.
• Strong communication, organization, documentation, and follow-through skills.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills are strongly desired.

Responsabilités

• Provide one-on-one social service assistance, information, referrals, and follow-up to participants.
• Assist older adults, residents, families, and community members with accessing benefits, healthcare, food resources, transportation, housing resources, and other services.
• Maintain accurate participant records, service notes, referrals, and other required documentation.
• Support senior programming, community activities, workshops, and outreach events.
• Provide temporary coverage at BHNC program locations when regular staff are unavailable.
