Job summary

Bernal Heights Neighborhood Center is seeking a Mobile Senior Services Coordinator to assist active and at-risk seniors with social services, referrals, and wellness activities at housing sites in San Francisco.

The role includes administrative support, volunteer oversight, and collaboration with staff, community partners, and instructors to deliver programs and services with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BA degree, AA/AS, or 3 years social services experience.
• 2 years coordinating staff or volunteers.
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite.
• Ability to work 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Complete intakes and assessments for Active Senior Program using DAAS GetCare.
• Maintain participant charts, monthly reports, and related documentation.
• Provide short-term social services and referrals to services for participants.
• Oversee volunteers or instructors for classes (in-person or Zoom).
• Coordinate advisory board meetings and outreach to recruit members.
• Assist housing-site staff to resolve client needs and track progress.
