Job summary

Dunkin' Clinton, TN is seeking a Shift Leader to coach restaurant team members through the shift, assign tasks, and drive Brand standards and guest service.

You will support the Restaurant Manager, implement shift priorities, manage inventory and cash, and ensure food safety while delivering a positive guest experience. This role offers growth in leadership and operational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Previous leadership experience in retail, restaurant or hospitality.
• Proven experience managing daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, deposits, and maintaining operational controls.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive performance, and deliver exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members
• Support the Restaurant Manager in meeting operational goals and execution
• Ensure Brand standards are met throughout shift including food and beverage preparation
• Communicate shift priorities, goals and results to team members
• Complete shift deployment plans to ensure adequate coverage
• Coach team members with timely, constructive feedback
• Delegate tasks to ensure smooth workflow and efficient use of resources
• Support training of team members as needed
• Oversee franchisee safety, security and profitability policies during shifts
• Communicate with the next Shift Leader to hand off responsibilities
• Ensure Food Safety standards are met
• Manage Inventory during the shift
• Provide great guest service and coach others to do the same
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues to maintain reputation
• Manage cash over/short and ensure adherence to cash policies
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, and policy adherence
