Potbelly Sandwich Shop is seeking a friendly Shift Leader for our Lone Tree location. You will lead shifts, develop associates, drive product quality and customer service, and control costs for your shift.

This part-time role offers eligibility for benefits and opportunities for career growth. Requirements include at least 18 years old, 1 year supervisory experience in food service or retail, and completion of a state food-safety certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year supervisory experience in food service or retail preferred.
• Pass and maintain Food Safety Certification as required by state.
• Friendly, customer-first mindset in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle allergens and work in a bustling kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts and assign tasks efficiently with feedback.
• Ensure security and back-of-house standards are met.
• Count cash drawers and follow daily cash procedures.
• Prepare finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, etc.) efficiently.
• Adhere to health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Restock food lines, chips, and coolers.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
