Job summary

ProWood, a division of UFP Industries, is seeking a Sales Development Representative to identify and pursue new sales opportunities within our retail network. You will promote, educate and showcase products while building strong relationships with customers under the supervision of a Regional Sales Manager.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in customer service, understands basic sales principles, and communicates effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of work experience in customer service.
• Experience utilizing basic sales techniques and identifying sales leads.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proficiency in the English language in reading, writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Generate new sales through Special Orders, Contract sales, and new product promotions.
• Educate customers on products and solutions.
• Maintain positive relationships with existing customers.
• Manage CRM data and track sales activities.
• Visit customers per schedule and address concerns.
• Ensure adequate stocking and monitor inventory levels.
• Prepare reports and correspondence as required.
