Job summary

ProWood, a division of UFP Industries, is seeking an SDR to drive retail sales by identifying opportunities, promoting products, and developing strong customer relationships under the supervision of a Regional Sales Manager.

Responsibilities include generating new sales, educating customers, and supporting events and special orders while maintaining CRM records and pursuing new accounts. A background in customer service with basic sales knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of work experience in customer service.
• Experience with basic sales techniques and identifying sales leads.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
• Understanding of basic accounting and business concepts.
• Proficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Generates new sales through stores Special Orders program and Contract sales; Educates customers on products.
• Services and maintains positive relationships with the current customer base.
• Generates new sales by introducing and promoting new products and services; Drives Special Order Sales at the Pro Desk; Supports Pro Events; Supports Independent Lumber Yard Service.
• CRM management utilization and tracking.
• Visits customers according to a proposed schedule and assists addressing customer concerns and problems.
• Seeks prospective new accounts and customers to increase their sales volume.
• Ensures adequate stocking levels of product and product literature POP materials are present.
• Inspects product quality and monitors inventory levels.
• Prepares various reports and correspondence as required.
• Performs other duties as required.
