Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field.

Responsibilities

• Counsels students to encourage and support achievement.
• Monitors and enforces conduct and behavior per district policy.
• Observes, evaluates and reports on student performance and health.
• Prepares course outlines, objectives and materials per curriculum guidelines.
• Sets clear objectives for lessons, units and projects.
• Delivers instruction using varied methods and technology to fit learning styles.
• Instructs students individually and in groups; administers and grades tests.
• Maintains attendance and activity records as required by administrators.
• Communicates with parents/guardians and staff to resolve issues and coordinate efforts.
