Job summary

M.M.LaFleur is seeking an experienced retail manager for its DC Georgetown onsite store. The role focuses on driving store revenue, leading a growing team, delivering exceptional service, and aligning with brand standards.

You’ll recruit, coach, and manage staff, oversee daily operations, and partner with Planning to optimize inventory and displays. Weekend work and occasional evenings support events and growth.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of retail/service experience with a minimum of 2 years of management experience.
• Empathetic and thoughtful with strong leadership qualities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and scheduling/POS systems.
• Available to work weekends and occasional evenings for events.

Responsibilities

• Forecast weekly sales and partner with Director of Retail to hit monthly goals.
• Analyze store KPIs with Director of Retail to optimize performance.
• Lead clienteling and drive revenue through customer relationships.
• Recruit, interview and hire part-time and full-time sales staff.
• Train and develop the store team and maintain service standards.
• Manage daily operations, inventory, and health and safety procedures.
