Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a Restaurant Server for the Winner's Circle Restaurant or Jockey Club. You will provide food and beverage service to guests, greet customers, take orders, and ensure accurate processing of payments.

The role requires at least 1-2 years of dining experience and knowledge of standard service procedures. This is an on-site position likely in a fast-paced casino dining environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma.
• TABC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare table settings and side stations in assigned area prior to opening.
• Greet customers, present menus, inform customers of daily specials or buffet offerings, make suggestions, answer questions and take beverage orders.
• Process food and beverage orders in POS system.
• Pick up and serve beverage orders from service bar to customers properly and in a timely manner.
• Close out guest checks and collect payment from customer.
• Process vouchers for credit cards and make change for cash transactions.
• Assist bus staff with stocking, removing and resetting dishes, glassware, flatware, table linens and other related restaurant supplies as needed.
• Secure stations at end of shift, return all linens, condiments, dishes, glassware and flatware to appropriate areas.
