Job summary

Sun Outdoors is seeking an Activities Coordinator to plan, organize, and facilitate engaging activities, events, and programs that enhance the well-being, social interaction, and enjoyment of guests and residents at Sun Outdoors resorts and communities.

The role includes coordinating events such as picnics, dances, and dinners; managing calendars and budgets; leading a team; coordinating with vendors; keeping supplies stocked; and producing weekly communications for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Creates, plans, coordinates, and attends activities such as picnics, sporting events, dances, and dinners.
• Sets up and cleans up after events.
• Provides leadership, motivation, training and support to team members.
• Promotes a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
• Maintains a calendar and monitors attendance, vendor utilization, income, and expenses.
